Rain, rain… let’s go out and play!

When did rain stop being fun?  We remember some fun days in junior high and high school where we skipped class (oh, I mean, cough, we were sick) and ran out into the middle of the biggest field we could find so that we could slide on our stomachs and treat it like the world’s biggest slip-n-slide.  Sure, it’s not fun driving in the rain anymore, and I suppose that now that we don’t have parents buying clothes for us, we try to take a bit better care of our things, but shouldn’t rain still be fun?

Jon, for one, thinks that he should take his beater of a car and drive down to Jones Beach, New York to check out the surf.  Sujata is flying somewhere sunny.  Catter is… well, she’s still recovering from a bad fall skiing, bobsledding and skeletoning at Lake Placid this winter, so she’s not as psyched as the rest of us about rain.  Where would you like to go to play in the rain?
